GIS Project Coordinator (GIS – PC – PMO)

Accountabilities and Duties

  • Maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, budgets, and expenditures
  • Provide administrative support as needed
  • Organize, attend, and participate in stakeholder meetings
  • Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution
  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members
  • Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings
  • Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings
  • Ensure project deadlines are met
  • Determine project changes
  • Undertake project tasks as required
  • Ensure that all projects documentation is maintained – appropriately for each project
  • Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable
  • Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective

Experience and Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor of Computer science or equivalent
  • PMP Certification in good standing is Preferred
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience of project management with a successful track record of delivery
  • Mastery of Enterprise project management software applications
  • GIS knowledge is preferred
