GIS Presales Consultant (GIS-PSC-BPS)

Purpose of the job

The GIS Presales Consultant is responsible for achieving the presales financial target for QSIT. The GIS Presales Consultant shall work to ensure QSIT’s reputation and brand is well recognized in the market. The GIS Presales Consultant is also obliged to understand the customer’s needs and requirements.

Accountabilities And Duties:

  • Responsible for the implementation and achievement of the QSIT’s mission, goals and financial objectives
  • Prepare presentations about the products or services with all their values for the usage of the sales department when needed
  • Identify and develop new business suppliers through networking, courtesy and follow-up calls
  • Build and maintain high level contacts with current and prospective suppliers and other business and project partners
  • Engage with the customers and interpret their needs and give advice for prospective products that are aligned with the customers’ demands
  • Provide answers to technical or non-technical questions asked by clients
  • Compare QSIT product or service offerings with product or service offerings of other competitors from a technical point of view
  • Maintain awareness and keep up-to-date of constantly changing software, hardware systems and peripherals
  • Ensure the positioning and presentation of Alkan CIT Group’s product offerings compared to other companies
  • Attend meetings with potential clients to determine technical and business requirements and ensure that all necessary information is communicated in a correct and clear way
  • Create internal design configuration documentation including network diagrams with technical explanations
  • Assist in establishing and adjusting the selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.
  • Provide day to day performance management for subordinates and that includes (Feedback, Coaching, career development, and disciplinary actions)

Experience and Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor in engineering major communication and electronics
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the industry, with minimum of 3 years in similar position
  • Background in GIS is preferred
  • Very good Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management
  • Excellent understanding of the group’s technical products
  • Fluency in both English and Arabic languages
